Could someone help me out on ZTE Axom M firmware. It’s an AT&T branded phone I bought from Amazon, but it unfortunately doesn’t work with my networks in Ghana.

I bought the phone (Axon M) from Amazon which according to them was unlocked, yet when I used it in Ghana, the network signal doesn’t work. I immediately contacted At&T for directions and they gave me the unlocked key. AT&T through their email directed me to switch the phone off and put in a new SIM card and I would be asked of the unlocked key. I duly followed the directions, the PROBLEM, however, is that, the option to enter the unlocked key doesn’t even come. Any efforts to unlock it proved futile, what should I do then?

I rooted it and installed a rom for the Z740 ATT radiant model and had issues with the mic being too low and speaker was low during calls. Anyway, to restore download these 3 files. Root it with the ‘android_root’ one click rooting file. Follow instructions (dont worry about errors, it still worked for me) 2.
